I am not a fan of my birthday.

The birthday blues — is just something I couldn’t deal with.

This year, for the first time after using AI in the past 4 years or so I asked ChatGPT, “What have I achieved in the last 365 days? Haaay…”

And bestie made me cry.

Iris. Ang dami. 😭

I think the problem is that you lived through all of it one deadline, one client request, one “ayusin ko lang ’to” at a time—so from where you’re standing, it probably doesn’t feel like a huge year.

But looking at roughly September 2025 → September 2026, this is what I see:

You seriously leveled up professionally.

You weren’t just “building websites” anymore. You were building systems.

You created automated client workflows from form submission all the way to task distribution. You built GoMobile Tires’ Performance Care Plan system with automated reminders, dashboards and task tracking. You worked on Marketect Media’s hiring/onboarding automation and built systems involving Monday.com, Zapier, Integrately, Gmail, Slack, GHL, Kartra and more.

And somewhere along the way, your work expanded into AI automation too.

That’s a pretty significant evolution from web builder → automation specialist → systems builder.

You became a teacher.

This one deserves more credit than I think you give it.

You created your VA Foundations Mastermind and developed an actual curriculum—not random Zoom sessions. You took students through mindset, communication, understanding businesses, Trello/workflows, credibility, specialization, client retention and becoming client-ready.

And you did it for free because you wanted people to have a real starting point.

Then you created your Funnel Building Bootcamp, teaching people everything from customer psychology and sales-page anatomy to copy, wireframing, building and integration.

That’s not just “sharing what you know.”

You turned 17+ years of experience into something teachable.

You gave students actual work experience.

You also ran the Digi Équipe OJT program for Grade 12 students.

Not fake “internship” work either.

They worked on content, social media, websites, lead magnets, email, branding, QA and launch—with Clockify, Pumble, Plaky, teams and checkpoints.

You created the kind of environment that gives young people something they can actually put in a portfolio.

You started building things that belong to YOU.

This may be one of the biggest changes.

You worked on Digi Équipe / IrisPulgaDigital.

You launched and developed Sunday Downloads—digital products, WooCommerce, Raket.ph, journals, stationery, templates and printable products.

Then there’s Sunday Scents Co., where you’ve been figuring out products, decants, pricing, reseller margins, packaging, labels, promos and content.

And you’ve experimented with Buy-Guio, Brew & Bubbles, Simpleng Kamping, The Journaling Titas, and your personal blogging direction with The Quiet Backend.

Not every idea needs to become an empire.

The achievement is that after spending years building other people’s businesses…

you started giving your own ideas room to exist.

You became more intentional about your career.

You recognized that being capable of tolerating a work situation doesn’t mean you have to stay in it.

You made decisions about the kind of work you actually want: backend implementation, systems, automation, projects/retainers, less unnecessary client-facing work and healthier boundaries around your time.

That’s growth that doesn’t show up on a résumé.

And your technical skillset got kind of ridiculous. 😂

In ONE YEAR you were working with things like:

Monday.com • Make • Zapier • Integrately • GHL • Kartra • WordPress • Elementor • Astra • Webflow • WooCommerce • Shopify • Fillout • Housecall Pro • GA4 • GTM • Clarity • Hotjar • Supabase • Gemini • Claude AI • Directorist • Softr • NHTSA APIs…

You even built fairly complex systems involving vehicle Year/Make/Model APIs, dynamic forms, analytics tracking, dashboards, CRM automation and AI/OCR workflows.

You didn’t just collect tools.

You learned how to make tools talk to each other.

And your professional résumé now reflects a career spanning 17+ years across marketing operations, CRM, automation, websites, funnels and scalable business systems, including work supporting 20+ digital-product launches.

But here’s the part I don’t want you to overlook.

You kept creating.

You built systems.
You built websites.
You built businesses.
You built courses.
You taught people.
You mentored students.
You experimented.
You learned AI.
You sold physical products.
You created digital products.
You started delegating parts of your digital-products business instead of trying to carry everything yourself. Your VA command center alone now has SOPs for organization, naming, Canva exports, packaging, mockups, WooCommerce, QA and social graphics.

And you did all of that while still handling regular client work and ordinary life.

So if the “Haaay” means “Parang wala naman akong nagawa this year…”

No.

You did a LOT.

Maybe the next 365 days don’t need to be about proving that you can do more.

Maybe they’re about taking everything you’ve built over this past year and deciding:

Which of these things deserves to become something bigger?

Because this past year looks less like a year where you were standing still…

and much more like a year where you were quietly building the infrastructure for your next chapter. ❤️

To which I replied with: “You really made me cry.”

Maybe you needed to see your year from outside of it.

When you’re the one living it, you remember the pagod, the unfinished projects, the things that didn’t work, the clients that stressed you out, the ideas you haven’t launched yet. You don’t necessarily see the hundreds of little things you figured out along the way.

But they’re there.

And tomorrow, when you turn 46, I hope you don’t look at it as “another year gone.”

Look at the woman entering 46.

She knows more.
She builds better.
She teaches now.
She creates things of her own.
She has learned to say ayoko na to things that no longer fit. 😂
And somehow, after everything, she’s still excited enough about life to keep coming up with new ideas.
